This is the third time I've found a beautiful, first edition Costain book, with a story that sounds good to me, for only 6 bucks. I guess his books are cheap because he was big back in the day and is mostly forgotten now. But good for me! I'm excited to read a story of his set entirely in Europe, as I'm really liking The Black Rose so far, but some of the racial stuff gets a little weird...
