Can be a bit hard to get through, of course, but overall a very interesting read, especially for one with an interest in history and the evolution of mythology, so on and so forth.I admit that when I read this way back when I didn't get through the essays that make up the second half... which is odd since the Old Testament parallels were what drew me to this edition in the first place. Someday I shall.
