Uncertain, Fugitive, Half-fabulous

Of course, being a volume collecting issues of an ongoing comic series, you can't judge this as a novel, not even as a novel in a series of novels. As a collection of issues there's a lot of great stuff here, but reading it as a book can be a little frustrating because it's between the introductory first book, and the deepening of mythology that the ending suggests is to come.

Nonetheless, more incredibly fun and interesting Nexus. The stuff here skews more towards the funny side of the spectrum, although there is one really depressing and messed up issue to bring that part of everything back around. Also, a guest appearance by one of the greatest superheroes ever: Badger.
