This is probably one of the best volumes yet. Moving even further into the things that make the series great: frustrating intergalactic politics, bizarre humor, untenable moral positions, and strangely high-falutin' language.
This volume sometimes follows other characters, it hops from a strangely slapstick-filled horrible massacre to a goofy fun story about an interdimensional library to the sad tale of a lonely girl. Basically, it is great. Weird and touching and hilarious and dark and full of Silver Age storytelling in which its hero makes up powers on the fly... because why not, his powers aren't really important to the story anyway.
